About the Role

We’re looking for a compassionate, reliable, and culturally strong Support Worker who identifies as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander to join our team at our Liverpool disability accommodation sites. We work with participants with varying needs from physical support, intellectual support, social support, mental health & challenging behaviours. You’ll play a key role in empowering the people we support to be part of the community, live independently, and live their best life.

This is an identified role. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are strongly encouraged to apply.

  • Provide high intensity support tailored to each participant’s unique needs
  • Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and toileting
  • Facilitate daily living activities and implement capacity-building exercises
  • Manage household duties, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Administer medications accurately and adhere to prescribed protocols
  • Accompany participants to medical appointments and liaise with healthcare teams
  • Enable community participation by arranging transport and supporting access to activities
  • Foster social engagement through active companionship and meaningful interaction

About You

You’re driven by innovation, passion, and a shared vision for delivering exceptional support. You’re adaptable, a great communicator, and ready to think differently to make a real difference in people’s lives.

  • Proven experience with High Intensity Support (Bowel care, Catheter care, etc.)
  • Proven experience with Manual Handling
  • Relevant Qualifications (e.g. Cert III in Disability or Community Services)
  • Required Checks: NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check (WWCC), CPR & First Aid Checks, Police Check, Driver’s licence, reliable vehicle, and comprehensive insurance
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to follow protocol, procedures, documentation, and data collection
  • Flexible availability
