About Us

Tea Tree Gully Golf Club is one of Adelaide’s premier golf courses, renowned for its exceptional course presentation, robust membership base, and dedication to ongoing improvement. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Course Superintendent to join our dedicated team.

The Role

Reporting to the Course Superintendent, this hands-on leadership role involves assisting with all aspects of course maintenance, team supervision, and operational planning. You will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of course presentation, safety and staff development.

Key Responsibilities

• Organise daily and weekly work schedules for the greenkeeping team
• Supervise staff to ensure tasks are completed to the highest standard
• Conduct staff inductions, training and equipment operation sessions
• Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and safe work practices
• Assist with maintenance of irrigation systems, machinery and equipment
• Monitor course conditions and report any issues promptly
• Step into Superintendent duties when required

About You

• Demonstrated experience in golf course maintenance and turf management
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of irrigation, machinery, and course presentation
• Committed to WHS compliance and promoting a safe work environment
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
• Qualifications in Sports Turf Management or similar preferred
