We’re now on the lookout for a dynamic and detail-focused Accounts Receivable Manager to lead our AR function and support continued growth through financial excellence and collaborative leadership.
The Role
As Accounts Receivable Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end receivables function, leading a small team, and ensuring the integrity of our debtors’ ledger. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on involvement – supporting process improvements, managing credit risk, and building strong cross-functional relationships to enable timely, accurate reporting and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- AR Management & Reporting
Deliver accurate monthly aged trial balance and claims reports, ensuring ledger reconciliation and proactive credit risk management.
- Leadership & Team Development
Lead and support a team of three by fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture and driving process improvement.
- Customer Master Data & Credit Control
Oversee customer credit approvals and maintain accurate master data to ensure compliance with credit policies and payment terms.
- Banking & Reconciliations
Manage daily AR banking processes, monthly reconciliations, and Mastercard entries while supporting ad hoc financial tasks.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Process Ownership
Partner with internal teams and external auditors to resolve queries, streamline processes, and ensure accurate documentation and reporting.
What We’re Looking For
You bring deep experience in finance, a thoughtful leadership style, and a collaborative approach that helps drive both team performance and business results.
Required:
- 5 -10 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, with at least 3 years in a management role.
- Relevant qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management abilities.
- Advanced Excel skills and high attention to detail.
- Solid knowledge of ACCC guidelines and credit policy frameworks.
Desired:
- Experience using M3 Infor ERP and Blueshift.
- Familiarity with credit risk assessment tools and trade spend systems.
- Experience in FMCG industry
