About the role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Logistics Allocator to join our Logistics team in Montrose on a permanent, full-time basis. Led by our Logistics Manager, this newly created role is key in planning and coordinating the Repurpose It fleet, across metro and regional areas.

Working closely with key stakeholders including drivers, customers and internal stakeholders you will ensure the timely delivery of goods, while continually finding efficiencies, optimising routes and adding to our overall customer proposition.

Responsibilities include:

• Receiving, processing and prioritizing orders

• Scheduling and dispatching orders

• Ensuring timely delivery and efficient use of resources

• Coordinating internal stakeholders to arrange stock transfers

• General administration tasks including stock reporting, updating internal systems, raising monthly purchase orders

This is a Monday – Friday office-based role. While you would be based in Montrose there will be a need to travel across our sites including Hallam and Epping when required.

About you:

Communication is key! You thrive in a busy environment and can effectively and efficiently coordinate multiple stakeholders. This includes giving clear instructions and having the ability to troubleshoot when required. You will have great organisation skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks (often the same time) backed with your ability to prioritize. You are results driven, while having the customers experience front of mind. You also can demonstrate the following:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a scheduling type of role is essential.
  • Associate degree or qualification in logistics, supply chain or related field will be highly regarded
  • Current Victorian Driver’s License
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
