Are you a passionate Early Childhood Teacher who thrives in a nature-inspired, play-based learning environment? North Edge Early Learning (NEEL) is seeking a nurturing, creative, and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to lead our 4-year-old kindergarten program in a part-time, fixed-term parental leave cover position.
Who is North Edge Child Care Centre?
Located in Warrnambool, North Edge Early Learning is a purpose-built early learning centre designed to spark children’s curiosity, confidence, and creativity. With spacious, light-filled learning areas and thoughtfully designed outdoor play environments, we offer quality education and care for children aged from birth to six years. Our kindergarten programs are led by qualified teachers and focus on building strong relationships, supporting individual interests, and preparing children for lifelong learning in partnership with families and community.
The Role
As the teacher of our 4-year-old kindergarten group, you will:
- Develop and deliver a high-quality, inclusive program that reflects the interests, abilities, and developmental needs of each child
- Create a nurturing and engaging learning environment aligned with the VEYLDF and EYLF
- Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and your colleagues
- Collaborate with a supportive and passionate team that values professionalism and continuous learning
The successful applicant will have:
- A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
- A current Working with Children Check
- Experience in a similar role
- A child-led, relationship-based teaching philosophy
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to working in a team
