THE ROLE:

We are seeking a Physiotherapist for a community based aged care role.

You will provide Physiotherapy with a focus on restoring, improving, or maintaining your clients’ independent functioning and wellbeing. This may include mobility assessments, home exercise programs, prescription of walking aids, and falls prevention programs.

This role is based in the Metro North area (other metro regions will also be considered). This is a hybrid role working with clients in their homes, in the office and from home.

Duties will include:

  • Provision of evidence based, and goal directed assessment and interventions to CHSP eligible clients.
  • Maintain appropriate clinical documentation.
  • Co-ordinate therapy implementation by Allied Health Assistant
  • Assist with coordination of referrals, planning, service delivery, and evaluation.

THE CANDIDATE

The successful candidate will be a passionate, self-driven, and innovative Physiotherapist.  You will be organised and flexible with a high standard of communication, problem-solving and initiative.

You will have sound clinical expertise, preferably within the Aged Care sector.

Driven New Graduate Physiotherapists with exposure to Aged Care Community services and those looking for great work life balance, are highly encouraged to apply.

The candidate will possess:

  • A passion for working in community based aged care.
  • The ability to work with individuals, care givers, health professionals and other staff within a consultative and collaborative environment to achieve positive outcomes for clients.
  • Current registration with AHPRA, NDIS Workers Screening check, WA Drivers License, and current First Aid and CPR.
