About the role:

The Clinical Manager – Intake and Assessment plays a vital and supportive role within ITEC Health, directly assisting the CEO – Health. This full-time position requires AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.

This newly created role can be delivered from any ITEC location including Brisbane, Rockhampton, Mackay, Adelaide & Cairns with occasional travel.

The primary focus is on managing the intake and assessment functions for participants seeking Disability Supports. In this leadership role, you will also ensure ongoing assessments for existing participants. You will work collaboratively with the senior management team to maintain high standards of care and implement continuous improvement initiatives in line with the NDIS Quality Standards. Your efforts will be crucial in supporting individuals with disabilities to receive quality care in their homes and communities.

About you:

We’re seeking a skilled leader with strong clinical expertise and excellent communication abilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in intake and assessment along with experience in NDIS and clinical governance frameworks. Mandatory Certifications/Clearances:

  • Must hold a current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Experience in management and/or a senior lead nurse role is essential.
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of clinical care and management, desirably in disability care.
  • Knowledge of accreditation, quality and standards required to be met under the NDIS Quality Safeguards Commission or willingness to learn.
  • Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to drive/travel in the course of work.
  • Relevant probity checks required by ITEC Health
