About the Company:
Wormall Civil has been in operation for 40 years and has built a reputation becoming a leading Western Australian Civil Construction company that strives to provide excellence in engineering, construction, and project management services.
We are currently working on multiple projects across the metropolitan area from Two Rocks to Mandurah and from Australind to Margaret River in the southwest region. Our projects have multiple active stages with project values ranging from $500K to $10million.
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly motivated Recruitment Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified candidates for various positions across white-collar and blue-collar roles within the organisation. The Recruitment Officer will work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates
– Source and screen resumes to identify potential candidates
– Conduct phone and in-person interviews to assess candidate qualifications
– Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers
– Manage the recruitment process from start to finish, including job postings, candidate communication, and offer letters
– Build and maintain relationships with candidates and hiring managers
– Manage labour hire needs as required
– Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to recruitment and hiring
– Source and maintain talent pool for blue collar workforce
About You:
– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
– 2+ years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
– Excellent organisational and time management skills
-Knowledge of recruitment best practices.
-Proven track record of filling roles in a timely manner.
-Proven ability handling confidential information.
-Familiarity with HR databases, preferably Employment Hero
-Ability to work under pressure.
