Fraud Team Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Team Manager or Team Leader looking to make their next move to join our Fraud department. As a Team Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring your team thrives and create a cohesive team that works efficiently together to maximise their potential. You will work closely with the department managers, colleagues including FR, Finance and Compliance. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in being a Team Manager and have exceptional analytical and communication skills. You should display excellent interpersonal skills to build quality relationships with the team and with clients, be goal-driven, and manage the day-to-day activities of the team efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Management

· Be the first point of contact for team and any queries they have

· Manage the day-to-day activities of your team including planning and organising team workload, ensuring team are hitting targets and SLAs, managing all team absences

· Audit and review your teams files along with letters of complaint and Financial Ombudsman forms

· Analyse and reviewing MI reports to provide employees with feedback and assess teams overall performance

· Provide all team training

· Setting targets , deadlines and SLAs for team

· Review team files for quality and assurance purposes

· Coach and support team to maximise productivity

Finance

· Raise payments to clients

· Oversee billing and debt report for team

· Deal with any unallocated payments and unallocated post

Compliance

· Ensure team is compliant with the firms closure process of files

· Ensure team adhere to the workflow

· Be the first stage handler for complaints completing a full investigation when complaints a raise within your team

Data Analytics

· Have a strong experience of analysising data

· Analyse and review management information reports to make informed decisions

· Reviewing files for progression and prospects

· Delivering teams training

Any other duties at determined by management

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

· 3 years experience in a legal team leader/managerial role, preferably in a high volume department

· Confident in supervising a team

· Experience of delivering training

· Professional and effective communication skills, both written and verbal

· Proven track record of setting and managing teams targets and SLAs

· Strong leadership experience with a proven ability to plan, manage performance and to successfully coach and develop a team

· Experience of developing team members and effectively use management information to manage teams performance and workloads

· Resilient and able to work in a constantly changing environment

· Pro-active and makes decisions, even if difficult or unpopular

· Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously

· Ability to demonstrate an understanding of all detailed aspects of the department, how it functions, and how that contributes to the success of the firm

· Excellent IT skills and proclaim experience (desirable)
