Education & Care Managers – Alanvale & Gordon Square

Look no further – Lady Gowrie Tasmania is looking for two passionate & motivated Education & Care Managers for our Alanvale and Gordon Square services!

Lady Gowrie is a not-for-profit community-based organisation providing Education and Care to children from birth to 12 years of age.

The role

• 4 days per week
• Managing a service of up to 55 children per day at Alanvale and 30 children per day at Gordon Square
• Our Alanvale site is Located in Newnham, Northern Tasmania
• Our Gordon Square service is located in George Town

The role you’ll play

• Manage the delivery of high-quality and safe Early Childhood Education & Care
• Oversee service operations including enrolments, rostering, purchasing and other admin tasks
• Lead the service to meet & exceed standards through Assessment and Rating processes
• Build strong relationships with children, families and your team
• Mentor your team to develop fun and educational programs that meet the needs of every child.

Skills and Experience

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in early childhood education & care (or equivalent)
• 5 years’ experience in the Early Childhood Education & Care sector
• Proven understanding and practical application of Education and Care regulations, national law and National Quality Framework
• A current Working with Vulnerable People Card (or ability to obtain)
• Police Check (or ability to obtain)
