The role:

The Learning and Development Specialist will work closely with the People and Culture team and the broader organisation to identify learning & development initiatives applicable to individuals and teams to drive capability growth within Redkite

This role is responsible for:

  • supporting managers to identify and implement their team members’ professional development requirements.
  • designing and delivering small group facilitation.
  • overseeing new hire induction to ensure relevant and timely learning interventions within the first 6 months of employment.
  • managing, delivering and implementing improvements to Redkite’s e-learning offerings.
  • supporting performance management systems
  • maintaining the learning and development calendar.
  • sourcing innovative cost-effective learning & development opportunities.
  • identifying leadership development opportunities and managing Redkite’s leadership development program offerings.
  • supporting people and culture generalist activities where requested.

About you:

You are an experienced learning and development specialist who is particularly looking for rewarding & meaningful part time work. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills & experience:

  • A minimum (5) years’ experience in identifying and implementing learning and development interventions for individual capability growth.
  • Experience in sourcing, managing and promoting learning and development opportunities for multiple professional capability improvement needs.
  • Experience and comfort in leading small group training and facilitation of workshops.
  • Familiarity with various facilitation tools and techniques e.g. MS Teams, Zoom, SLIDO, Kahoot etc
  • Experience in administrating learning management systems (LMS) and using authoring tools for e-learning design updates.
  • Preparedness to address L&D foundational systems administration e.g. training diary management, e-learning suite enrolment and completion reporting.
  • Strong interest in and affinity for, using systems for ongoing productivity enhancement.
  • A desire to look for productivity gains, process improvements and implement.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail.
  • An ability to coordinate work deliverables to a 3 day per week work pattern.
  • Hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
