About the Role:

  • Develop and refine a scalable software product that will shape the future of healthcare.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code to ensure a seamless, high-performance application.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test features that enhance product functionality.

A Day in the Life

This role is a blend of hands-on coding, problem-solving, and collaboration. You’ll work with modern technologies to build and enhance a healthcare-focused product, implementing new features, fixing bugs, and ensuring seamless integrations. You’ll collaborate with designers and engineers to refine user experiences and optimise system performance.

About You

  • Education: A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in software development (preferably within SaaS, fintech, or data-driven environments).
  • Work Eligibility: Must have full working rights in Australia. While Queensland-based candidates are preferred, outstanding applicants from other locations will also be considered.

Technical Expertise:

  • Programming: Strong proficiency in JavaScript (React, Vue, or Angular), Python, or Java for application development.
  • Frontend Development: Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern UI frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
  • Backend Development: Hands-on experience with Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), or Java (Spring Boot) for server-side development.
  • Databases: Familiarity with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Firebase) for data storage and retrieval.
  • Version Control: Experience with Git/GitHub or GitLab for collaborative development.
  • APIs & Integrations: Understanding of RESTful and GraphQL APIs to integrate external services.
  • Testing & Debugging: Ability to write unit and integration tests to ensure application quality.
  • Cloud & Deployment: Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP for deploying applications (not mandatory but a plus).

  • Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot software issues effectively.
