About the role:
The Sales and Administrative Assistant will play a key role in helping the company manage our current growth and develop new business. Specifically, this role will support the work of the Projects team in managing and maintaining existing client relationships, preparing quotes, responding to queries, and developing new clients.
The Sales and Administrative Assistant must be an outgoing, self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal and numeracy skills.
These responsibilities will include:
· Building and maintaining client relations through the creation, management and tracking of quotes, contracts and invoicing.
· Generation of new business leads.
· General office administration tasks, including fielding e-mail and telephone enquiries.
· Maintaining inventory & ordering office supplies etc.
· Assisting with the administration of the company expense system.
· Creation of promotional and marketing materials, including copywriting.
· Any other tasks which are deemed appropriate within the role.
Requirements:
. Personable and approachable personality
. Proven experience in a customer-facing role
. Proven experience in an administration role
· Experience and confidence in building client relationships and liaising with prospective and existing clients face to face and via e-mail, phone and video call.
· Highly organised with the ability to handle conflicting demands
· Strong English speaking & writing skills
· Strong numeracy skills
. High attention to detail
. Strong time management skills
· Strong IT proficiency, including experience with accounting software (e.g. Xero), use of databases & Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with CRM software packages would also be advantageous.
· An understanding of contracts and working with large tenders would be an advantage.
· Interest in archaeological or near-surface geophysics would be desirable.
· Proven track record of experience in Marketing and Social Media Management may be beneficial.
