Purpose

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will partner with Product, Technology and business stakeholders to identify opportunities, define solutions and drive the delivery of initiatives that create value for Banjo customers and the business.

You will play a key role in translating business needs into actionable outcomes, leading discovery, facilitating collaboration and ensuring solutions align with strategic objectives, customer needs and operational efficiency.

 

Discovery & Analysis

  • Lead discovery activities to understand business problems, opportunities, and customer needs.
  • Elicit, analyse, validate and document business, functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Evaluate solution options and provide recommendations that balance customer value, business outcomes, technical feasibility and operational impact.
  • Analyse current-state processes and identify opportunities for improvement through root cause analysis, process modelling and value stream mapping.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews and stakeholder discussions to gather insights, align stakeholders and define business needs independently.
  • Define future-state processes, business rules and operating models.
  • Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria and other delivery artefacts.
  • Identify and proactively manage risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies.
  • Partner with Product Managers and Engineering teams to lead backlog refinement, sprint planning and solution design activities.
  • Ensure solutions deliver against agreed business objectives, customer outcomes and success measures.
  • Support testing, implementation and change readiness activities as required.

Stakeholder Management

·Build trusted relationships across Product, Technology, Operations, Risk and other business functions.

·Communicate complex concepts and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

·Facilitate decision-making and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.

·Challenge assumptions and influence stakeholders to achieve the best business and customer outcomes.

·Act as the key liaison between business and delivery teams, ensuring shared understanding and alignment.

Continuous Improvement

·Identify opportunities to improve business processes, systems and customer experiences.

·Contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis practices, standards and ways of working.

·Support data-driven decision-making through analysis, reporting and insights.
