We are seeking an enthusiastic Trade & Marketing Manager to join our international team in London.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, UK & Europe, you’ll play a key role in delivering Visit Victoria’s trade and marketing strategy across the UK, Northern Europe and selected continental European markets.

A key focus of this role is building capability and advocacy for Victoria among travel trade and distribution partners. Working closely with travel agents, tour operators, wholesalers, online travel agencies, Tourism Australia and airline partners, you’ll design and deliver engaging training programs that increase destination knowledge and inspire partners to actively sell Melbourne and Victoria. You’ll also negotiate and manage cooperative marketing campaigns with strategic partners to jointly promote Melbourne and Victoria to trade and consumers.

Whether you’re presenting to a room of travel agents, hosting webinars, delivering product updates, coordinating familiarisation visits or representing Victoria at major industry events, you’ll become a trusted destination expert and ambassador for Victoria in market.

Travel is a regular and rewarding part of the role. You’ll travel throughout the UK, Northern Europe and, if required, Continental Europe to deliver training programs, attend trade events and build relationships with industry partners.

Travel is typically planned well in advance and includes a mix of week-long training programs, roadshows, trade missions and occasional overnight trips. You can expect multiple multi-day trips each year, including participation in major industry events and Nordic roadshows.
