You’ll lead and develop our warehouse team, creating a well-organised environment where everyone knows what great looks like and has what they need to do their best work.

Alongside the day-to-day operation, you’ll manage the detail behind our international shipments, making sure export documentation, customs requirements and compliance are accurate, up to date and completed on time.

This is a hands-on role for someone who loves making things run brilliantly, enjoys leading and developing people, and has a great eye for detail. You’ll be equally comfortable out on the warehouse floor as you are getting into the detail of processes, paperwork and compliance.

  • Work closely with teams across Tropic to keep warehouse operations running smoothly
  • Partner with our Manufacturing and Supply teams to maintain a smooth flow of stock and high levels of inventory accuracy

  • Own the international export process end-to-end, from documentation and customs declarations through to ensuring compliance with UK, EU and international trade regulations
  • Manage relationships with freight forwarders, couriers and customs brokers, ensuring shipments move efficiently and issues are resolved quickly
  • Ensure the correct use of Incoterms and the accurate completion of commercial invoices, certificates of origin and all other required shipping documentation

  • Build and grow the warehouse team as the operation develops, recruiting and onboarding brilliant people when needed
  • Lead by example, creating a positive, collaborative and accountable team culture
  • Coach, train and develop the team, helping people build their skills and perform at their best
  • Set clear objectives for direct reports and regularly review progress and performance
