Description

Build the future of electric mobility.

We don’t always have a role open, but we’re always looking for exceptional engineers. If you’re passionate about the technology powering the EV revolution, we want to hear from you.

Submit your details to join our talent community and we’ll be in touch when the right opportunity opens up.

Disciplines we hire across

  • Electronics Engineer — PCB design, circuit analysis, EMC, signal integrity
  • Power Electronics Engineer — high-voltage converters, inverters, thermal management, magnetics
  • Firmware Engineer — embedded C/C++, RTOS, communication protocols, boot systems
  • Software Engineer — cloud platforms, backend services, APIs, network protocols
  • Embedded Software Engineer — Linux BSP, drivers, OTA updates, OCPP, connectivity stacks
  • Mechanical Engineer — enclosure design, thermal systems, cable management, DFM
  • Systems & Test Engineer — hardware-in-the-loop, validation, compliance, field reliability
  • Engineering Graduate — any discipline; bring curiosity, ambition, and a fresh perspective

We welcome applications from graduates through to staff and principal engineers across all disciplines.

What you might work on

  • Next-generation DC fast charger hardware and firmware
  • High-power conversion topologies from 50kW to 350kW
  • OCPP compliance and smart charging software
  • Cloud-connected diagnostics and remote management platforms
  • Safety-critical system validation and regulatory compliance
  • Manufacturing yield improvement and design for testability
  • Field reliability programs and failure analysis

What we’re looking for

  • A degree in electrical, electronic, mechatronic, software, or related engineering
  • A hands-on approach — you like building and testing, not just designing
  • Comfort working across hardware and software boundaries
  • Strong communication and a collaborative mindset
  • The drive to take ownership and see projects through to production
  • Experience in EV, power systems, or industrial electronics is a bonus — but not essential
  • Graduates are encouraged to apply; talent and potential matter more than years of experience

Life at Tritium

Tritium has been building EV charging infrastructure for over 15 years, with products deployed across more than 40 countries and a team spanning Brisbane, Tennessee and Coventry. Working here means genuine ownership over your work — engineers at Tritium have visibility across the full product lifecycle, from early concept through to mass production and field deployment.

Beyond the day-to-day, you’ll be working on technology that matters. Every charger we ship accelerates the transition to electric transport — and that’s something you’ll feel in the work.
