Description

Tritium is a global leader in DC fast charging technology for electric vehicles, and we’re looking for a Product Program Director to own delivery of our next generation of EV chargers.

Reporting directly to the CTO and based at our Brisbane headquarters, you’ll be working on complex, multi-disciplinary engineering programs. If you thrive at the intersection of deep technical knowledge and large-scale program execution, this is the role for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead cross-functional engineering teams through the full product lifecycle — concept, development, industrialization, and launch.
  • Own program scheduling, timing, costing, and performance across all engineering workstreams.
  • Control scope through Design Reviews, V&V events, and gate management — preventing unauthorized creep.
  • Govern programs against Tritium’s Product Creation Process with clear data and status-to-target reporting.
  • Act as the independent engineering arbiter for technical trade-offs, proactively resolving roadblocks before they impact the plan.
  • Report program status to senior leadership and the Board, communicating risks and issues proactively.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, plus project management qualifications or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record leading complex, multi-disciplinary hardware programs end-to-end.
  • Deep familiarity with Systems Engineering principles and both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills — comfortable with engineers and executives alike.
  • Commercial acumen with experience managing program budgets.

Nice to Have: experience in EV charging, power electronics, or adjacent high-tech hardware industries.

Why Tritium?

  • Work on technology genuinely shaping the future of transport.
  • Free on-site DC fast charging for your EV.
  • Novated leasing and meaningful employee savings benefits.
  • Flexible access to your earned wages.
  • Half-day off each month — no agenda, just yours.
