Description

At SYOS Aerospace, we are building the next generation of autonomous vehicles across air, land and sea. We move quickly, solve complex engineering challenges and turn ambitious ideas into technology that performs in the real world.

We are looking for a Production Engineer to help bring our maritime systems from concept and prototype through to production and delivery. This is a hands-on role that connects Engineering, Supply Chain and Production – creating the structure, processes and coordination needed to deliver advanced autonomous vehicles at pace.

You’ll play a key role in improving how we build, supporting the transition from prototypes into repeatable production, and ensuring our teams have the plans, materials and processes needed to succeed.

What you’ll do:

  • Translate engineering designs and requirements into clear production plans and build activities
  • Coordinate build schedules, resources, materials and priorities across Engineering, Supply Chain and Production teams
  • Support the transition of prototype designs into repeatable manufacturing processes
  • Identify and remove production blockers to keep programmes moving
  • Improve manufacturing processes, build flow and delivery performance
  • Track progress, manage risks and support practical solutions throughout the production lifecycle

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in production engineering, manufacturing engineering, production planning or a similar engineering environment
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, engineering drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Ability to coordinate complex builds and manage competing priorities
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a practical, hands-on approach
  • Experience working collaboratively across Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain teams

We’re always keen to support growth from within SYOS. If this role feels like the right next step for you, we encourage you to apply today.
