Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious ADR Driver (HGV Engineer) to join our expanding team at LCM Environmental. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting and handling hazardous materials in compliance with ADR and Hazardous Waste Regulations, while supporting a range of fuel and environmental services across the UK.
This is a hands-on position that involves travel nationwide (including overnight stays) and working in varied environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of health and safety compliance, experience in fuel or environmental services, and the ability to work flexibly as part of a high-performing team.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Category C (Class 2) HGV Licence
- Full Driver CPC Card
- Full ADR Licence
- A proactive approach to safety and operational excellence

Duties
Hazardous Material Transport & Compliance
- Uplift, transport, and deliver hazardous materials in line with ADR and Hazardous Waste Regulations.
- Complete Environment Agency hazardous waste documentation accurately.
Fuel & Environmental Services
- Service interceptors and separators.
- Perform fuel tank cleaning and fuel polishing.
- Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment (6000+ psi).
Safety & Coordination
- Work in accordance with task-specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
- Collaborate with Operations and Project Managers to ensure compliance with site rules.
Support & Reporting
- Assist confined space and pipefitting teams as required.
- Provide detailed reports of completed works and identify additional site needs.
Training & Development
- Participate in ongoing training and development programmes.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in HGV driving and ADR compliance.
- Strong understanding of health and safety practices.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and flexible hours.
- IT literacy (including mobile apps for job management).
- Comfortable working autonomously or as part of a team.
Essential Qualifications
- Category C (Class 2) HGV Licence
- Full Driver CPC Card
- Full ADR Licence
Preferred (but not essential) Qualifications
- Experience in fuel or environmental services.
- CCNSG or SPA Safety Passport.
