Responsibilities

• Our technology stack: Akka, Scala, Docker, FoundationDB, AWS, Scala.js and React.js.

Qualifications

• •Experience designing, building, deploying, operating, scaling, and evolving distributed systems and high-volume transaction application.
• End-to-end knowledge of modern web app architecture (including databases, API design, cloud infrastructure, and security) as well as best development practices.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related fields or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Full-stack development experience.
• Large AWS deployment experience.
• Proficiency in a Unix/Linux environment.
• Graduate degree (MS/PhD or PhD dropped out) or competitive programming background a plus.
