We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operative to join our engineering team in Kilrea, Northern Ireland. This permanent, full-time position is crucial for ensuring the precision and quality of our metal fabrication processes. Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate press brake machinery to bend and shape metal components according to specifications.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine the correct bending processes.
• Conduct regular inspections of machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Maintain accurate records of production and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Press Brake Operative or in a similar role within the engineering industry – minimum 2 years experience
• Familiarity with operating press brake machinery and understanding of metal fabrication processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations.
