Who are we?
Breeze is a digital-first travel connectivity brand. Our mission is straightforward: to become the most trusted, frictionless global connectivity solution for regular travellers, and in doing so, to set a new benchmark for customer experience across the connectivity industry.
We operate at the intersection of travel, technology, and consumer education, partnering with globally recognised brands including the Lufthansa Group, Booking.com, and Western Union. These partnerships reflect both the scale of our ambition and the confidence that industry leaders place in our platform.
We are building Breeze on two non-negotiable foundations: a digital-first product philosophy and an unwavering commitment to the customer. Too many travellers still encounter confusing charges, opaque pricing, and unnecessary friction when connecting abroad. We exist to change that through clear communication, seamless technology, and a genuine obsession with doing right by the people who use our product.
We are not a business that shies away from difficult problems. On the contrary, we seek them out. The challenges that others find uncomfortable are precisely the ones we find most energising.
The role
This is a hands-on technical operations role reporting to the Head of Operations that sits at the centre of our direct-to-consumer stack, spanning data, automation, customer support tooling, retention and fulfilment. It is not a heavy-code engineering position: our developers own the build, and you own the detail. You will audit what is live, sharpen what is half-built, stand up and run SaaS tooling, embed AI into our workflows, and turn data into commercial results.
You will work across commercial, customer experience, engineering and third-party vendors to get things shipped- running cleanly across our e-commerce network. You will be trusted to run delivery end to end, and to bring order and rigour to a fast-moving environment.
What you’ll be doing…
-
Support automation: Improve and extend our AI-powered customer support tooling, creating automations with our service providers to minimise human intervention. And working with the development team to scale it across our store network.
-
Retention tooling: Set up and run the SaaS platforms that drive repeat purchase and referral, including the associated customer communications.
-
Data and insight: Help the team to own our product analytics — auditing event capture, optimising customer input strings for product recommendations, building dashboards, and turning data into clear, decision-ready insight for the business.
-
Product optimization: Have a keen interest in the eSIM market, analyse competitors, bringing ideas to the table to improve user satisfaction and key store performance metrics.
-
Commercial analysis: Assemble conversion and pricing data to help shape product and pricing strategy, using AI tooling to accelerate the work.
-
Fraud prevention: Own controls across payments, promotions and referrals — monitoring, rules and escalation — to protect the business as it grows.
-
Fulfilment and operations: Act as first line on fulfilment and provisioning issues with our platform partner, resolving problems and feeding recurring patterns back for a fix.
-
Delivery and coordination: Brief, QA and coordinate developers and vendors, and handle bug fixing, technical support and triage as they arise.
What you’ll need…
- An AI-first mentality — you reach for AI tooling by default to accelerate analysis, support and delivery.
- Strong data skills: SQL, python, product analytics (PostHog or similar) and data visualisation, with the commercial sense to turn numbers into business recommendations.
- Technical fluency without being a heavy-code developer — you can read APIs and webhooks, configure SaaS tools, and brief and QA developers work rather than replace them.
- Meticulous attention to detail — the core of this role is auditing and honing, so you spot what is wrong and own the fix.
- The ability to work independently and be self-sufficient: a true hands-on doer and thinker who can run delivery end to end.
- Composure under pressure, comfortable moving between support, fraud and fulfilment issues as they arise.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms, preferably Shopify (advantageous).
- Exposure to eSIM, telecoms or wider martech, and to loyalty or referral platforms (advantageous).
- The ability to work with agentic AI chatbots (advantageous).
- Fluency in English.
- Happy to work remotely.
