This role will report directly to the MD of BreezeSIM. The establishment of best practices within an agile environment, mentoring & supporting team members, liaising with other departments in the organisation, and building relationships with our existing external development partner will be key responsibilities.

What you’ll be doing…
Leadership and Guidance: Lead by example in project execution, provide direction, and inspire team members through positive influence, technical guidance and modelled behaviours.
Agile Product Development: Develop projects from inception to completion within an agile framework, ensuring goals are met with agility and precision.
Creative Problem Solving: Tackle complex software challenges with innovative solutions and a results-driven approach.
Effective Communication: Clearly convey complex technical concepts to team members of varying technical backgrounds, ensuring collaborative understanding and progress.
Quality Assurance and Attention to Detail: Uphold high standards in code and product quality, proactively addressing potential issues to maintain excellence. Drive code reviews and uphold high standards for code quality.
Commitment to Continuous Learning: Stay informed about industry developments and emerging technologies to enhance personal expertise and company competitiveness.
What you’ll need…
A minimum of 5 years of experience is required, with an ideal background in a startup setting (i.e., this role should be your 3rd or 4th professional position).
An AI first mentality is a must.
Experience working and developing within an agile environment.
Solid experience in full backend development, preferably with Golang and TypeScript.
Strong expertise in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with deep experience in modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue) and a strong understanding of web UI and application technologies, including Flutter.
An understanding of development within eCommerce platforms, preferably Shopify (advantageous).
A demonstrable background in enabling a marketing function across a range of acquisition channels.
Experience using AWS, Cloudflare and Posthog.
The ability to work with agentic AI chatbots (advantageous)
The ability to work independently and be self-sufficient; a true hands-on doer and thinker.
