Summary:

As an HR Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in aligning human resources strategies with business objectives. Based in Aberdeen, Scotland, this part-time permanent position requires a proactive individual who can foster a culture of collaboration and innovation while supporting the workforce in achieving their goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
  • Support talent acquisition efforts by participating in recruitment processes and onboarding new employees.
  • Facilitate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and career progression.
  • Conduct performance management processes, including appraisals and feedback sessions.
  • Analyse HR metrics to identify trends and recommend improvements to HR practices.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives and communication strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong experience in an HR role at consultant or HRBP level, preferably within the marine, engineering or technical sectors.
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
