The Opportunity
We are currently seeking Trade-Qualified Electricians to join our team for project work throughout the Pilbara. We have the following roles available:
- Local Karratha based operating on a 5:2 roster (Monday to Friday), with opportunity for more hours / local rosters
This position requires candidates to be fully RTIO inducted so previous RTIO inductions would be an advantage. We’re also looking for candidates who hold an Electrical Nominee qualification and a Split System Installer License (Cert II in Split Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Systems). Candidates with these current qualifications would be looked at favourably.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment across site
- Carry out wiring, terminations and testing on new homes and refurbished dwellings.
- General jobbing and maintenance throughout the Pilbara.
- Perform tasks to industry standards and in line with RTIO and project-specific requirements
- Read and interpret electrical plans and schematics
- Conduct regular testing, fault finding, and diagnostics
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Collaborate with project supervisors and trades to ensure project deadlines are met
Must Haves:
- WA Electrical Licence
- C Class Unrestricted Driver’s License
- White Card (Construction Induction)
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Able to offer direction and leadership to apprentices
- Fully RTIO inducted or willing and able to complete inductions
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Respect for Indigenous culture and values
- Ability to be fit tested for respirator use
Other qualifications that are desirable:
- Cert II in Split Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Systems
- Electrical Nominee
- Working at Heights certification
