Description

As the Procurement Manager, reporting to the Supply Chain and Logistics Manager, you will lead procurement across all categories and help build greater structure, discipline, and commercial ownership across sourcing, contracting, and supplier performance. This is a high-autonomy role suited to someone who can combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery in an evolving business.

 

Your key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement category strategies aligned to manufacturing, quality, and business needs.
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing activities, including RFQs, RFPs, negotiations, and supplier selection.
  • Lead commercial negotiations for high-value and business-critical contracts.
  • Manage supplier relationships across the full lifecycle, including onboarding, performance review, risk management, and issue resolution.
  • Draft, negotiate, and manage contracts to support compliance, supply continuity, and commercial value.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to embed fit-for-purpose procurement frameworks, governance, and continuous improvement.

About you

You are a commercially strong procurement professional who is comfortable operating in an environment where structure is still being established. You bring strategic thinking, sound judgement, and the ability to lead sourcing activity, negotiations, and stakeholder engagement directly.

  • 5+ years’ experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management.
  • Strong commercial and negotiation capability, including experience with complex supplier agreements and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or other regulated manufacturing environments will be highly regarded.
  • Exposure to GMP or mission-critical supply chains will be viewed favourably.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to operate effectively in evolving systems and processes.
  • Experience establishing or maturing procurement practices, governance, and commercial discipline.
  • End-to-end supplier and contract management experience.
