Description

About Tritium

Tritium is a global leader in DC fast charging technology, supporting the world’s transition to electric mobility. Our chargers are designed and built in Brisbane and deployed around the world — and this role sits at the heart of that work.

The Role

We’re looking for a trade-qualified Electrician who brings both hands-on site expertise and a genuine interest in advanced electrical systems. This is a dual-focus position: you’ll keep our engineering sites and test facilities running in top condition, while also working alongside our engineers to support product testing, validation and troubleshooting of high-power DC fast chargers before they go to market.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Maintain, diagnose and repair electrical equipment, machinery and infrastructure across engineering and test laboratory sites
  • Perform site infrastructure upgrades, service repairs and improvements to test facilities
  • Coordinate with third-party electrical subcontractors on infrastructure works
  • Set up and perform electrical tests on EV charging units and sub-assemblies
  • Wire, modify and maintain electrical test rigs and equipment
  • Fault find and diagnose issues across LV, 415VAC and high-voltage DC systems (up to 1000V)
  • Record test results, maintain documentation and support continuous improvement of test processes

What We’re Looking For

  • Cert III Trade Qualified Electrician with a current Electrical Fitter Work Licence
  • 5+ years’ experience in electrical site installation, maintenance or similar environments
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capability across LV mains and 415VAC systems
  • Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Comfortable working with high-voltage DC systems (training provided if needed)
  • Sound knowledge of electrical safety legislation and a strong WHS mindset
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, power systems or product testing environments

Highly regarded: power electronics or inverter experience, test equipment (scopes, power meters, loggers), R&D or product validation background, SOP/documentation writing, Altium. Why Tritium?

  • Work on technology genuinely shaping the future of transport — not just talking about it
  • Free on-site DC fast charging for your EV
  • Novated leasing and meaningful employee savings benefits
  • Flexible access to your earned wages
  • Global career pathways in a high-performance engineering environment
  • Flex Time — half a day every month to invest back into yourself, your family, or life outside work
