The Role
We are seeking an experienced Marine Plumbers or Tube Fitters to join our team in Henderson on a full-time basis. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of marine plumbing systems, including fresh water, grey water, and sewage systems. You will ensure all work is carried out to the highest standard, with pipes and systems cut, installed, and maintained in line with specifications and industry best practices.
This is a hands-on position requiring strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and test Schematic Pipe Systems as per specification
- Bend tubes using ratchets, electric, and hand benders
- Measure and record site fitted pipe spools for manufacturing in isometric view to be manufactured and installed
- Use brackets and clamps to attach pipes and tubes to bulkheads, frames, structures, and fixtures
- Install various systems including Mapress, Bluecher, Viega, Loro X and PVC-C
- Read and interpret piping system schematic drawings to plan pipe routes for hydraulic systems
Qualifications & Experience
- Trade qualification essential (Plumbing, Mechanical or other related field)
- 2-5 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within the marine industry
- White card and Confined Space Entry Ticket (essential)
- Understanding and experience in quality control techniques
- Familiarity with installing pumps, machinery, and vessel components
- Experience with Mapress, Bluecher, Viega, Loro X and PVC-C
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and plan system installation
- Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
