Housekeeping PA, Room Attendant, Houseperson -Hilton Cairns – Expression of Interest

We are seeking dedicated and reliable Public Area Attendants, Housemen, and Room Attendants to join our team in Cairns City, Queensland. These part-time contract roles are essential in maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and overall guest experience within our facilities. As part of the hospitality team, you will play an important role in ensuring all guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standard.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Change bed linens, towels, and replenish guest amenities as required.
• Assist with linen delivery, rubbish removal, and restocking housekeeping supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness of lobbies, lifts, hallways, staff areas, and other shared spaces.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and housekeeping needs.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to supervisors.
• Assist with laundry duties and support the housekeeping team when required.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures to maintain a safe environment.
• Deliver friendly and professional customer service to guests and team members.

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping, hotel cleaning, or public area cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling tasks.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and well-presented.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays.
