IT / Franna Operator and Riggers – FIFO

About the Role

MCA Engineering is seeking experienced IT / Franna Operators and Riggers to join our team for ongoing projects in Mt Isa. In this role, you will operate Integrated Tool Carriers (ITs) and Franna (Non-Slew) Cranes to support construction, maintenance and materials handling activities across surface mining and industrial projects. You will be responsible for the safe movement of equipment and materials while maintaining compliance with site procedures and safety standards.

Starting indicative pay rates (under the Enterprise Agreement) from $55–$65 per hour plus allowances, depending on skills, experience and qualifications.

About You

• Current unrestricted driver’s licence
• Minimum 2 years’ experience operating ITs and/or Franna (Non-Slew) Cranes
• Current High Risk Work Licence – CN – Non-Slew Crane, OR Rigging Basic RB, Intermediate RI or Advanced RA.
• Relevant mobile plant operating tickets
• Experience in mining, civil construction or heavy industrial environments
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
• Mining experience is highly regarded
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol testing
