We seek an experienced Mobile Access Transport Planner with a strong fibre and microwave transmission design background for mobile networks. The ideal candidate will bring 3–5 years of hands-on experience in planning and designing access and aggregation networks, including familiarity with cell site routers and access transport elements.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and design mobile access transport solutions across fibre and microwave networks.
- Prepare transmission designs for access aggregators and cell site routers, including platforms like Cisco NCS540, ASR903, Nokia 7250 IXRe, Huawei CX600, and ATN910s.
- Work with legacy technologies such as SDH where required.
- Utilise industry-grade tools including Helix, MapPlanner, and Athena for network planning and documentation.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams to validate designs and ensure alignment with mobile service rollout requirements.
- Manipulate and analyse large data sets using Excel or similar tools to support planning activities.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful design delivery.
Skills & Experience
- 3–5 years’ experience in mobile transport planning and design, specifically fibre and microwave transmission.
- Strong knowledge of mobile network architecture, including 4G and 5G transport requirements.
- Proven competency using Helix, MapPlanner, and Athena (or equivalent tools).
- Familiarity with modern and legacy transmission platforms (IP/MPLS, SDH, etc.).
- Excellent data analysis and reporting skills using Excel.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and capable of working both independently and in team settings.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Comfortable working in dynamic environments with shifting priorities.
