Summary:

As a Travel Sales Consultant, you will play a vital role in helping clients plan and book their dream holidays. Destinology is all about luxury holidays whether it be on land or at sea. We’re here to create the ultimate tailor-made holiday, with our unique blend of first-hand destination expertise, services, and superb relationships with our carefully selected travel partners. With Destinology, our customers receive their own personal travel consultant, who will ensure that no detail is overlooked – however small – right from their initial enquiry, all the way through to them returning home. Based in Bolton (hybrid) or working from home you will engage with customers to understand their travel needs and provide tailored solutions, ensuring a seamless booking experience.

What you will do as a Travel Sales Consultant:

  • Engage with customers to understand their travel preferences and requirements.
  • Provide expert advice on destinations, travel packages, and services.
  • Assist clients in booking flights, accommodation, cruises, tours and other travel arrangements.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during the booking process.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel trends, regulations, and promotions.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.

What we are looking for:

  • Demonstrated drive and aptitude for achieving sales targets.
  • A passion for travel and a desire to help others plan their holidays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience using GAL or similar is preferable.
  • Previous experience in a Travel Sales role is essential.
