Description

Not many people get the chance to build an entire community.

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead a major multi-year development in the Toowoomba region. This is more than a construction project. It’s the creation of a place where people will live, connect, celebrate milestones and create memories for years to come.

The kind of project you’ll drive past with your family one day and say: “I built that.”

If you’re looking for a project with scale, challenge and the opportunity to leave your mark, this is it.

Why you’ll enjoy working here

  • A landmark project with over 500 homes and years of delivery ahead.
  • Competitive salary, company car and tools of trade.
  • Long-term stability with one of the region’s largest builders.
  • The freedom to make decisions and own the outcome.
  • Direct access to leaders who back good people and good ideas.
  • Retail discounts, wellbeing benefits and a team you’ll enjoy working with.

What you’ll be doing

  • Keeping programmes, budgets and delivery targets on track.
  • Leading a high-performing team focused on delivering great work.
  • Coordinating trades, suppliers, consultants and internal teams.
  • Driving quality, safety and site performance across every stage.
  • Monitoring project performance, forecasting outcomes and managing profitability.
  • Identifying risks early and solving problems before they impact delivery.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders and keeping communication clear.

What you’ll bring

  • 5+ years’ experience delivering large-scale residential or commercial construction projects.
  • Proven success managing programme, budget and project performance.
  • A leader who takes ownership, follows through and gets the best out of people.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with trades, suppliers, consultants and stakeholders.
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach with the ability to keep projects moving when challenges arise.
  • Current QBCC Site Supervisor Licence, White Card and unrestricted Driver’s Licence.

This role may not be for you if you

  • Wait for problems to become urgent before taking action.
  • Need constant direction rather than taking ownership.
  • Avoid difficult conversations or accountability.
  • Cut corners on quality, safety or planning.
  • Measure effort instead of outcomes.
