Content Marketing Executive
(Email, SEO & Campaign Content Lead)
Role Overview
The Content Marketing Executive is responsible for creating
and managing all written marketing content across the business. This includes
email marketing, blog content, website pages, SEO-driven content, and social
media copy.
This role ensures consistent brand messaging, drives
engagement, supports lead generation, improves organic visibility, and
contributes directly to revenue growth through strategic, performance-led
content.
This position replaces a channel-specific email role and
expands into full ownership of written marketing output across digital
platforms.
Core Responsibilities
1. Email Marketing & Automation
Plan,
create, and execute weekly marketing emails
Develop
promotional, service and campaign-based email content
Build
and optimise automated email journeys (abandoned cart, nurture,
re-engagement, etc.)
Conduct
A/B testing and performance optimisation
Segment
audiences for targeted messaging
Monitor
performance and report on key metrics
Ensure
all email communication aligns with brand tone and commercial objectives
Objective: Drive revenue, engagement, and retention
through strategic lifecycle email marketing.
2. SEO & Website Content
Write
and optimise blog articles to drive organic traffic
Create
and update website content pages
Support
SEO strategy through keyword-led content creation
Work
alongside SEO resource to align with ranking opportunities
Refresh
and improve underperforming content
Ensure
all web copy supports conversion and brand positioning
Objective: Increase organic visibility, inbound
traffic, and qualified lead generation.
3. Campaign & Commercial Content
Write
landing page copy for campaigns
Develop
content for product launches and promotions
Create
downloadable lead magnets (guides, resources, etc.)
Support
lead generation initiatives with high-converting written assets
Objective: Strengthen campaign performance and
support sales pipeline growth.
4. Social Media & Brand Messaging
Write
social media captions aligned to campaign messaging
Adapt
long-form content into short-form social assets
Maintain
consistent tone of voice across all platforms
Collaborate
with design for visual/content alignment
Objective: Maintain strong brand consistency and
audience engagement.
5. Performance & Optimisation
Monitor
content performance across channels
Identify
opportunities to improve engagement and conversion
Use
data insights to refine messaging strategy
Test
subject lines, hooks, and content formats
Skills & Experience
Strong
copywriting skills (short-form & long-form)
Experience
with email marketing platforms and automation
Strong
understanding of SEO content principles
Ability
to write conversion-focused copy
Analytical
mindset with performance awareness
Strong
organisational and planning skills
Commercially
aware and revenue-focused
Ability
to create simple graphic content/visuals is desired
