What You’ll Be Doing
As our Quality Control Team Leader, you’ll take ownership of quality processes. Working with teams across Product, Purchasing, Customer Service and Warehousing, you’ll be the driving force behind maintaining and improving quality standards throughout the business.
- Leading, coaching and developing the Quality Control Team.
- Managing the Product Perfection Team (PPT) process and ensuring investigations are completed accurately and on time.
- Investigating product defects, identifying root causes, and recommending practical solutions.
- Collaborating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve quality concerns and improve product performance.
- Conducting product inspections, audits and compliance checks.
- Producing KPI reports and quality performance data to support business decisions.
- Maintaining and developing Woodstock’s internal quality standards and quality control procedures.
- Supporting new product introductions to ensure products meet specification before reaching customers.
- Acting as the quality representative in business reviews, planning meetings and improvement projects.
What We’re Looking For
You’ll be a natural problem solver who enjoys getting into the detail while maintaining a clear view of the bigger picture. You’ll be confident working with colleagues at all levels and capable of leading change through collaboration and influence.
- Experience working within warehouse and office-based environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High levels of organisation and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Experience using computerised systems and reporting tools.
