The Role

Being a Technician for Garland Skoda is a fast-paced and exciting role! Here you will be working as part of a team to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business for the dealership. Representing a leading Automotive group and working alongside an award-winning business team, an excellent renumeration package is offered for the right experienced candidate.

We are looking for a Level 2 qualified technician with hands-on experience to join our team! Although not essential, MOT testing experience would be advantageous. Pay grading subject to qualifications.

Is working for a main dealer life for you?

Working with the manufacturer can vary compared to an independent garage, we work closely with the manufacturer to ensure that quality of our products and services. On a day-to-day basis this can involve contact with Technical Support through online forms, reporting issues / faults with cars through our integrated systems. Following workshop manuals precisely on every repair. A good level of IT skills is required to complete these steps successfully. We have state of the art diagnostic machines that are an integral part of our diagnosis process, with the systems generating test plans that need to be followed to gain warranty approval. We also use camera systems to report faults to customers and document warranty issues. Detailed technical write ups are key to getting faults rectified, these are completed electronically rather than pen and paper. In the near future we will be moving over to a completely paperless system.
