Motorcycle Technician

We are looking for an experienced Technician to come and join our South Downs Motorcycles team in Petersfield! The ideal candidate will be in a similar position currently within a dealership environment and will be an MOT tester also.

Recently established in 2023, South Downs Motorcycles are the solus Norton dealer for the south of the UK and we are looking for a new team member to come on board for the ride with us! Reporting into our Aftersales Manager, you will be working alongside a friendly and passionate crew. You will be provided full training and support where needed/required to meet brand standards.

Main Responsibilities:

– To carry out routine servicing or maintenance on all makes of bikes.

– Conduct diagnosis of any found or reported faults, carrying out repairs as required (PDI checks, changes of tyres, oil, brake pads, clutch and tracker installations)

– Carry out road tests to confirm correct operation and stability following service/repair

– Completion of appropriate documentation for records

– Advise appropriate colleagues of any additional work/faults found

– Ensure that work is completed within manufacturers’ standard times where possible

– Provide great customer service and offer advice to drivers and their managers
