Description

Overview

 As a cleaner at Wholesale Domestic, you’ll maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our Glasgow showroom and head office. Your work ensures high standards of hygiene and presentation, supporting the comfort and wellbeing of staff and customers every day.

This role requires 20 hours per week, worked as 4-hour shifts across 5 days out of 7. Shifts will include at least 1 weekend day as part of the regular working pattern.

Main Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Showroom Cleaning

  • Clean and sanitise customer-facing areas including floors, display units, toilets, and staff areas, adhering to specified hygiene protocols.
  • Dust and polish surfaces, mirrors, and fixtures.
  • Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
  • Keep entrance areas clean and tidy at all times.

Head Office Cleaning

  • Clean offices, meeting rooms, kitchens, and toilets.
  • Vacuum and mop floors, dust surfaces, and sanitise high-touch areas within office spaces.
  • Replenish consumables such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
  • Maintain cleanliness in communal areas including stairwells and corridors.

General Duties

  • Follow cleaning schedules and checklists.
  • Use cleaning products and equipment safely, effectively, and in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
  • Conduct weekly checks of cleaning equipment and order replacements or supplies as needed.
  • Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the Facilities Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
