Description

We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Service Driver/Operative to join our team in Nantwich. This role is responsible for servicing welfare units at customer sites and depot locations, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, functionality, and compliance.

As a Service Driver/Operative, you will travel to customer locations to carry out scheduled servicing of welfare units, including toilet maintenance, water replenishment, consumable restocking, and general cleaning. You will play a key role in delivering excellent service while ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes.
  • Attend customer sites and depot locations to service welfare units.
  • Carry out welfare unit servicing, including: Toilet pump-outs, water refills ,restocking consumables, adding toilet treatment chemicals, Cleaning and sanitising toilet facilities
  • Pump out depot holding tanks as required.
  • Complete daily waste disposal (“tip-off”) at approved local authority discharge points.
  • Accurately complete all paperwork, service records, and system reports, including photographic evidence.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support during site visits.

Essential Requirements

  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Previous driving experience.
  • Good driving skills with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
  • Experience using GPS navigation, route planning, and mapping systems.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld devices.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities.

Desirable Requirements

  • B+E licence category.
  • Previous commercial cleaning experience.
  • Experience working in a service, logistics, facilities, or related environment.
