Key Responsibilities

• Execute tasks assigned by managers in accordance with risk assessments and method statements.
• Ensure completion of all site paperwork as required within the necessary timescales.
• Operate and supervise machinery and tools safely and competently in accordance with their training .
• Conduct pre-use checks on all equipment and report defects immediately.
• Maintain a safe, tidy, and efficient working environment on site.
• Ensure works are completed on time and to specification.
• Maximise productivity while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Attend and actively participate in toolbox talks, site briefings, and training sessions.
• Sign and comply with all relevant permits and briefings before commencing work.

Essential

• SMSTS, SSSTS or ROLO Supervisor qualification
• LANTRA and/or NPTC qualifications relevant to the role
• Valid CSCS Card
• PTS (Personal Track Safety) certification for rail-related work
• First Aid at Work qualification (including Forestry First Aid where applicable)

Desirable Criteria

• ·Leadership or Management qualification/training (e.g. ILM Level 3 or above)
