Location: VCUKI Leadership College – Midlands Campus at Trent Vineyard Church

Salary: £36,294 pro rata (£14,517.60 per annum 0.4 FTE)

Term: Tuesday and Thursday (2 days per week) on a fixed term 2 years.

VCUKI Leadership College

The VCUKI Leadership College is a church-based, multi-campus, multi-disciplinary training programme for leaders within the movement. Students will apply from across the Vineyard movements to be part of the Leadership College and will take part in training both locally and at national training colleges based around the country. 

The Role

Vineyard Churches UK & Ireland (VCUKI) has an exciting opportunity for a Head of Campus at their Leadership College Midland Campus. This role will work in collaboration with the National Director of Training to oversee the facilitation of the VCUKI Leadership College within their campus area. The Head of Campus will be the driver for the college within each campus. The individual in this role will need to be able to support curriculum development and work with the Leadership College Team to create a thriving learning environment for emerging leaders within the movement. This is a part-time, fixed term position based at the Midlands Campus and reporting to the National Director of Training.

This role will be well suited to someone who is highly organised, motivated and can operationally support the delivery of the vision to see others step into their call and gifting through the organisation and administration of the Leadership College. 

The candidate would ideally be a graduate, have a background in education and an understanding of a range of teaching theories and practices. The candidate will have a track record of multiplying in leadership and be experienced in facilitating meetings and leading ministry times.

The candidate should be available to start in July however, if possible, we would love to start integrating them in June.

Job Description

Overall Responsibilities

This role will work in collaboration with the National Director of Training to oversee the facilitation of the VCUKI Leadership College within their campus area.

Facilitation of the Leadership College

Support Curriculum development for the ministry electives and networks.

o Attend national meetings to collaborate on curriculum development.

o Support Ministry Leaders and Campus Contributors with the implementation of the curriculum.

o Be available to give advice /or have discussion around suitable activities for students.

o Liaise with contributors on campus morning sessions.

Facilitate meetings and ministry moments within the College.

Regularly meet with the Director of Training and other Heads of Campus.

Liaise with a range of different stakeholders across a campus’ geographical area – this will include paid church staff, volunteers and members from other professional agencies.

Work with the Leadership College Team to create a thriving learning environment for emerging leaders within the movement.

o Interview potential students.

o Overview of student’s participation and experiences.

o Provide support to students and local church facilitators.

Attend Vineyard Leaders Gathering and other National events when required.

Leadership College organisation and administration

Regular communication with a national team and Senior Pastors within the movement.

o Email and calendar management.

o Travel management.

o Various administrative tasks and projects.

Capture student feedback throughout the year.

Communicate with students attached to the campus.

Host Leadership College days within the campus.

Travel within the UK for meetings or events.

Participate in Leadership College retreats.

Pray for students and staff within the cohort.

Occupational Requirement

As this role will require the successful applicant to promote the Christian values of the Vineyard church movement and provide individuals with Christian pastoral support, it is an Occupational Requirement that the successful candidate is a practicing Christian, who regularly attends Sunday church services and can agree with the VCUKI Statement of Faith and Ethos Statement.

QUALIFICATIONS

Educated to Degree level or equivalent, with GCSE English Grade C or above (or equivalent) – ESSENTIAL
