Due to continued business growth, we’re looking for an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to join our expanding Water Hygiene team.

Location: Halesowen, West Midlands Salary: £31,000–£38,000 + £4,000 Joining Bonus (for direct applicants that qualify) Job Type: Full-time | 40 hours per week

The Role

As a Legionella Risk Assessor, you’ll carry out high-quality risk assessments for a diverse client base while supporting the continued growth of our Legionella division.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out Legionella Risk Assessments in line with current legislation.
• Produce accurate, compliant reports and explain findings to clients.
• Provide technical advice and recommend appropriate control measures.
• Review colleagues’ reports to ensure quality standards.
• Identify opportunities for additional services, including management plans, monitoring programmes and training.
• Support and mentor junior team members.
• Assist with maintaining LCA accreditation and quality standards.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the department.

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least 3 years’ experience carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments.
• City & Guilds, WMSoc or equivalent Legionella Risk Assessment qualification.
• Good knowledge of ACoP L8 and HSG274 guidance.
• Experience producing compliant risk assessment reports.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Strong communication and IT skills.
• A proactive attitude with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
