Mechanical Fitter

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems and equipment across all industries. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and install mechanical systems and equipment according to specifications
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems and equipment
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues
• Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Keep accurate records of work performed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a mechanical apprenticeship program or equivalent experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
