Description

Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Showroom Salesperson to join our team in Baldock, SouthEast. This permanent, full-time role is essential for driving sales and providing exceptional customer service in the agriculture, fishing, and forestry industry. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the sector and a commitment to helping customers find the right products to meet their needs.

Hours: 42.5 per week with occasional Saturdays as part of a rota.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers in the showroom to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of products and industry trends to effectively assist customers.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in the visual merchandising of the showroom to create an inviting shopping environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance overall showroom performance.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner.
  • Participate in training sessions to improve product knowledge and sales techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a sales role, preferably within the agriculture, fishing, or forestry sectors.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to collective goals.
  • Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
  • A genuine interest in agriculture, fishing, and forestry products.
  • Flexibility to work full-time hours, including weekends if required.
