PDI and Service Technician

Job Function:

The primary role is to carry out servicing, repairs, and refurbishment of our premium used equipment, bringing it up to the highest standards of quality and safety, ready for resale. The role will also be required to carry out PDI’s (Pre Delivery Inspection and assembly) on a range of new machinery including products from both the agricultural and turf departments.

The successful candidate will be capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a workshop team environment, and the role will be workshop based.

Essential Duties:

• Diagnose, service, refurbish and repair premium used machinery.
• Perform comprehensive Pre-Delivery Inspections on all types of equipment and machinery offered for sale
• Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer and company standards.
• Accurately complete service records and relevant documentation.
• Account for all time and materials used in performing assigned duties
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment.
• Follow all H&S rules and policies when performing their role
• Provide occasional support to mobile technicians when required.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team to meet productivity and customer satisfaction targets.
• May participate in internal or external training where necessary

Skills & Qualifications:

• Mechanical background, preferably within the Agricultural, Turf, Automotive, or Plant industries
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
• Motivated to learn with a positive attitude
• Good organisational skills and a positive attitude towards learning.
• Ability to use basic standard computer application
