Description

Summary:

As the Sales Director for Europe, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and expanding our market presence across the region. This permanent, full-time position requires a strategic leader who can hit the ground running: a proven EV charging or energy infrastructure sales professional who combines deep technical credibility with a strong commercial instinct. You will be the person customers trust to translate complex DC fast charging technology into business value. Your expertise will be crucial in achieving our business objectives and enhancing our competitive edge in the industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets across Europe.
  • Create, qualify and convert a strong pipeline of new opportunities from day one, drawing on existing market relationships and network.
  • Develop opportunities with charge point operators and other priority segments in the region.
  • Lead technical conversations directly with customer engineering and procurement teams, reducing reliance on pre-sales support where possible.
  • Develop channel partnerships where relevant to accelerate market coverage.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining relationships with existing clients.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics to senior management.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales initiatives with overall business goals.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to optimise sales operations.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience in sales, business development or strategic account management, with a track record of directly generating and closing revenue.
  • Proven experience in EV charging, energy infrastructure or a closely related technical sector, ideally with existing customer and partner relationships that can be activated immediately.
  • Strong, demonstrable technical understanding of DC fast charging infrastructure, including charger architecture, power requirements, grid connections, site capacity, energy management and charging system integration — able to hold a credible, detailed technical conversation without relying on a solutions engineer.
  • Proven experience in a sales leadership role, preferably within the European market.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management.
  • Proven track record of winning enterprise or strategic accounts and consistently delivering against revenue targets.
  • Self-starter who builds and sustains momentum independently, without close oversight.
  • Fluency in English; additional European languages are an advantage.
