Description

Summary:

We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team in Lebanon, Tennessee. This permanent, full-time role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and manufacture precision machine components, fixtures, tooling, prototypes, and production support equipment using manual and CNC machining methods.
  • Support new model launches by developing and modifying production equipment, jigs, fixtures, and custom fabrication solutions.
  • Create, read and interpret detailed blueprints, mechanical drawings, CAD models, and GD&T specifications.
  • Operate, program and maintain manual and CNC machine tools including engine lathes, CNC lathes, vertical and horizontal mills, industrial turret milling machines, drill presses, surface grinders, waterjet cutting systems, band saws, press brakes, and related precision manufacturing equipment.
  • Perform advanced preventative and corrective maintenance across all mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, HVAC, plumbing, and fabrication systems throughout the facility.
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex equipment.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Interpret, install, and troubleshoot electrical circuits ranging from 12 VDC to 480 VAC.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve maintenance-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
  • 5+ years as a machinist, toolmaker, or precision fabricator in a manufacturing environment.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
