The Dabbling Duck is a charming, award-winning country pub and restaurant located in the picturesque village of Great Massingham. We pride ourselves on our warm, buzzy atmosphere, locally sourced seasonal food, and a front-of-house team that makes every guest feel at home.

We are currently looking for enthusiastic and professional Front of House Staff to join us on either a Part-Time or Full-Time basis.

The Role

As the face of The Dabbling Duck, you will ensure our guests receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive. Your responsibilities will include:

Greeting and seating guests with a warm, friendly attitude.

Taking food and beverage orders accurately and providing recommendations from our menu of pub classics and sophisticated dishes.

Serving food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation.

Collaborating closely with our kitchen team to ensure a seamless dining experience.

Handling payments and general cleaning/organising of the dining areas.

What We’re Looking For

Personality: You are confident, approachable, and thrive in a fast-paced, lively environment.

Passion: A genuine interest in providing outstanding customer service and creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Experience: Previous experience in hospitality is advantageous, but we value the right attitude and are happy to provide training for those new to the trade.

Flexibility: Availability to work shifts that include evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
