Description

Join the TGI Sport Team:

TGI Sport is a tech-led global sports media company that is trusted by the world’s premium sporting organisations since 1997. With over 15 offices and 440 employees worldwide, we support over 5,000 events through pioneering technology solutions, global media rights expertise and leading sports marketing knowledge.

Our TGI Talent division manages the careers of elite athletes, providing player representation, contract negotiation, brand partnerships and holistic support that helps athletes thrive on and off the field.

The Opportunity:

As our Graduate Talent Sales and Marketing Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting the TGI Talent Sales team to deliver best-in-market commercial outcomes for our AFL and AFLW talent. You’ll sit at the heart of campaigns and partnerships, helping to ensure every appearance, endorsement and social post is delivered on time, on brief and to an exceptional standard. Working closely with the Head of Talent Sales, Talent Managers and our Social Media Manager, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to the commercial side of elite sport while building strong relationships with talent, clients and partners.

What you’ll be doing

  • Coordinating AFL and AFLW talent deliverables for commercial partners, including appearances, endorsements and social media, and ensuring everything is delivered on time, to brief and signed off by clients.
  • Updating and maintaining data of all ambassador contract obligations, opportunities and new transactions.
  • Providing day-to-day administrative support to the Talent Sales team
  • Supporting major events such as the AFL Grand Final, Brownlow and W Awards, including invites, logistics and on-the-day coordination as required.
  • Assisting with prospecting and sales market research to identify new commercial opportunities for our talent.
  • Helping to create and update sales tools, decks and props
  • Coordinating invitations and ticketing for talent to key Australian sporting events
  • Monitoring the Talent inbox, triaging inbound requests and directing them to the right people.
  • Providing calendar invites and reminders to talent for upcoming appearances and commercial commitments.
  • Assisting with the development of social media tiles and templates and supporting the Social Media Manager with other content requirements.

 What we’re looking for

  • A recent graduate, or soon-to-be graduate, with a tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as marketing, business, media, sports management or communications.
  • Strong time management, planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • A strong understanding of, and genuine interest in, social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.
  • Knowledge of the Australian sporting landscape and a genuine interest in AFL and AFLW.
  • A collaborative team player with maturity, discretion and sound judgement when dealing with confidential information and high-profile talent.
  • A proactive, customer-focused mindset, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and support the team wherever needed.

 The TGI Sport Advantage:

TGI Sport is uniquely positioned to bring together technology, creativity, expertise, and talent to deliver solutions that set us apart on the global stage. This creates unparalleled opportunities – not just for our partners, but for our people as well.

  • Growth of our people: We prioritise individualised career development and progression. Learning and Development at TGI Sport spans in-house training programs and on-the-job learning, ensuring your growth aligns with our success.
